The nursery is open to the public for browsing and shopping on the above dates, rain or shine. Of course in case there’s a hurricane, like a few years ago, please call ahead or check our website before coming!
We’re accepting advance orders with a minimum of $50 for pickup at any of our Fall Open Houses. Just put down which Open House date you’d like to pick up your plants, and we’ll have them ready for you. As always, these orders must be accompanied by payment in full. Please let us have your orders at least a week before each Open House. Of course, you may pick up your plants by appointment on other business days, but we cannot show you around the nursery.
Naturally, you’re welcome to attend our Open Houses and purchase plants without any advance order! There is also no minimum order when shopping at our Open Houses. However, the nursery is not open to the public except on the Open House dates.
Please request our area map well in advance, as our nursery is difficult to find. We regret we cannot answer the phone during Open House or the day before an Open House. We’re located in southern New Jersey, only 35 minutes from either Exit 1 or 2 of the New Jersey Turnpike. Driving time is 1 hour from Center City Philadelphia, and 2 hours from metro New York or metro Baltimore. On our Open House days, local maps listing our nursery are available at the Greenwich Post Office in the center of the village of Greenwich, but on Saturdays the Post Office is open only until noon.
We’ve enjoyed a great growing season, and our plants are growing lustily and look fantastic. The nursery is loaded with plant treasures, and our area is rich in historical and natural attractions. Even if you’ve visited us in spring, we think you’ll enjoy a fall visit to see the nursery in a different season, so mark your calendars. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
Please do not bring pets to the nursery.
Please keep young children under physical control at all times.
This is for their safety and the safety of others.
Our nursery is smoke free.
